The Kind-Hearted Haji Muhammad Mohsin

Once a man was walking on a village road in dark night. Suddenly she heard some children to cry in a nearby hut. A dim light came from the heart. He followed the light and came close the hut.

He heard one woman to say to his children not to cry. Very soon she could feed them. The man looked into the hut through the window. He asked the woman why were the children crying. The woman answered that they were very much hungry and they had nothing to eat. The man saw some water to be boiled in a pot. But there was not a single grain of rice in it. He became surprised and wanted to know then, why was she boiling water? The woman said that, then the children would believe that their mother was preparing food for them and they would stop crying. She thought that they would fall asleep very soon and forget their hunger. In sorrow the man's eyes were filled with tears. He at once went back to his house and came back very soon with sufficient food for hungry children and their mother. From that day he began to take care of them so long he was alive

Do you know, who was this kind hearted man? He was none but Hazi Muhammad Mohosin. More than two hundred years ago this incident happened in Hoogly. He helped many poor people.
